Our company is committed to be in full compliance with the law of the countries that we operate in and with all other applicable laws, rules and regulations.
We strive to reach the highest compliance standards including laws relating to employment, discrimination, the environment, safety of apparel and related fields.

No Discrimination

Tainan Enterprises Co., Ltd. believes that employment should be based on ability and not on belief or any other personal characteristics. No person shall be subject to any discrimination in employment, including hiring, salary, benefits, advancement, discipline, termination of retirement, on the basis of gender, race, religion, age, disability, sexual orientation, nationality, political opinion, or social or ethnic origin. For female workers, factory shall not request any pregnancy check for employment conditions, and protect their work rights from punishments such as punishment, dismissal, or stay without pay due to marriage, pregnancy, childbirth, or parenting.

Forced Labor, Human Trafficking and Slavery

Forced Labor, Human Trafficking and Slavery

Tainan Enterprises Co., Ltd. shall not use any form of forced labor, whether in the form of prison labor from penitentiary, bonded labor, trafficked labor, state-imposed forced labor, or others non voluntary labor, and will not engage in any transactions with persons or entities that use any form of forced labor. Also, Factory shall not implement Human Trafficking or as an employee as Slavery.

Tainan Enterprises Co., Ltd. shall not hire a employee at an age younger than 15 years old for any reason. Moreover, the factory maintains official documentation for every worker that verifies the worker’s date of birth.

Every employee shall be treated with respect and dignity. No employee shall be subject to any physical, sexual, psychological or verbal harassment or abuse.

Tainan Enterprises Co., Ltd. will provide a safe and healthy working environment to prevent accidents and injury to health arising out, linked with or occurring in the course of work as a result of the operation of company facilities.

Tainan Enterprises Co., Ltd. recognizes that wages are essential to meeting employees’ basic needs. We shall pay employees at least the minimum wage required by local law and shall provide legally mandated benefits.

Hours of Work

Hours of Work

Working hours is shall follow the labor regulation. Workers shall have at least one day off in every seven. Moreover, if employees refuse to work more than labor regulation limit, company will ensure that employees will not be punished or terminated for refusing to work more than the labor regulation limit.

In addition to their compensation for regular hours or work, they shall be compensated for overtime hours at such premium rate as is legally required in the country of manufacture.

Tainan Enterprises is committed to creating a sustainable future for all. In addition to developing and implementing our own policies in environmental and social aspects, we also have introduced external third parties to ensure our business partners of our ethical production and practices among our facilities.It has created higher transparency and trust between Tainan and vendors/ clients.

By participation with Better Work/ Better Factory, facilities have steadily improved working conditions meeting ILO core labour standards covering compensation, contracts, occupational safety and health and working time. Meanwhile, it has significantly enhanced factories’ productivity and profitability.

Our facilities are in compliance with WRAP's generally accepted international workplace standards, 12 Principles, to create a safe, lawful, humane, and ethical working environment.

By participating Fair Trade, our factories ensure worker’s rights and benefits and return more profits to the producing hands, creating a fairer industry.

Facility environmental module
Higg Index is a system with modules to measure impacts at individual factories, developed by Sustainable Apparel Coalition (SAC).
Tainan Enterprises conduct at least an assessment on environmental performance each year and is verified by SAC-approved on-site assessors.

Facility Social & Labour module
This tool helps create safe and fair social and labour conditions for workers in apparel industry. We can easily assess our social impacts and communicate across the value chain to achieve common goals.

To support ethical raw material with low environmental impacts, we've joined Better Cotton Initiative, a non-for-profit organization improving global cotton production. With a better understanding of the sources through this platform, we have changed the livelihoods and working conditions for cotton farmers.

Recycled Clam Standard (RCS) tracks recycled raw materials through the supply chain, using the chain of custody requirements of the Content Claim Standard.
As an apparel manufacturer committed to build a sustainable future for all, we have developed several eco-friendly collections made from recycled materials verified by RCS.
